Kursk State Medical University is the first Institution in Russian to start the English medium for international students. Kursk State Medical University was established in 1935 and is one of the best Medical Universities in Russia. Kursk Medical University is ranked as one of the 10 best Russian Medical Universities. The population of students in KSMU is 5000 in which about one-third of that population are International students. There are 650 lecturers in KSMU with 70 % holding PhD or equivalent and 92 professors holding D.Sc.

Astrakhan State Medical Academy:

ASMA is one of the oldest medical institutions in Russia. It’s been more than 90 years since ASMA came into inception. During the years of its existence the ASMA has trained more than 23000 physicians. The Academys research efforts are focused on the problems of mother-and-child health, oncology, gastroenterology, infectious pathology, medical ecology as well as morphofunctional organization of the living system in normal, pathological and individual development. The Russian language medium for preparatory students ranges from $1,900 to $5,000. Depend on the city and University.

Admission and Application Procedures for all Russian Universities;

STEP 1;

1. You send us a scanned copy of your International Passport.

2. You send us a scanned copy of your O-Level Result.

3. You pay the Application fee

STEP 2;

1. You will receive the Offer Letter in a maximum time of 1 week. This will include the fees.

2. Student then pays the fees into the Schools Intermediary company Account. Fees are not paid directly into the school account. The school handles all payments through the intermediary. All these information will be stated in the offer letter.

3. Student receives Russian Migration/Invitation Letter 8 weeks after the fee is received in the School Intermediary Account.

4. Student goes to the Embassy.

RUSSIAN EMBASSY VISA REQUIREMENTS

• Original letter of invitation issued by Russian migration service (We will be responsible for getting you this letter)
• Letter of admission from Russian Institute / University/ Academy
• Completed visa application form
• Valid passport together with a clear photocopy of its data page
• One clear color passport size photo with the surname of the
• applicant written on the reverse side.
• General hearth certificate issued by responsible authority
• Original of HIV/AIDS test certificate.
• School certificate examination (WAEC NECO) legalized by the Russian consulate
• Police character certificate
• NDLEA certificate of Clarence
• Police deportation report
• Travel insurance valid for at least 3 month from the date of its submission to the consulate.
